When we decided to buy Rapido, we knew we were going to get a France Passion membership, which we had discovered well before on YouTube thanks to all the travelers and their great advice.

The concept caught our eye! For about 30 euros a year, you gain access to an impressive directory of farmers who welcome you to stay overnight on their property for free.

For our first try, we hit the jackpot: a small family farm with all the animals, a spot at the back of the farm near a lake facing the horses, and completely alone! It was love at first sight! We slept in a dream spot alone, in the middle of nature but safe, and that’s the key difference between a France Passion spot and a Park4night spot!

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the farmer who gave us a tour of his farm, much to the delight of the children. We were able to chat about his work, discover, learn, and of course, bring back some small cheeses to the motorhome!

Throughout our France Passion spots that followed, we slept in many different places and discovered new trades and farms: goat farms, beekeepers, winemakers…

The children especially loved the spots with animals that we could visit and pet in the evening and morning. As for us, we particularly appreciated the tranquility of the places every time, the peace and quiet, and the landscapes…

Despite vacationing in peak season, we were never many at the farmers’ places: a maximum of three, and often just by ourselves!

I believe that if we love motorhome road trips so much, it’s also thanks to France Passion because the evening spots become part of your holiday experience, not just a place to sleep. I can only recommend getting the membership!
