How not to fall in love with London? The architecture, the atmosphere, the shops, the music, the food, and the Londoners themselves! We felt so comfortable there that we would have gladly settled in for the long term.

On the trail of Harry Potter

As a fan of the Harry Potter series, visiting iconic filming locations was a must! Starting with St. Pancras Station, where the Weasley’s flying Ford Anglia takes off! You’ll discover Platform 9¾ and of course, a Harry Potter shop with exclusive products not found in the studios, so don’t hesitate too long unless you plan to return!

And just to fully embrace being a fan or tourist, you can have your photo taken pretending to pass through the wall with your trolley headed for the train! It’s an experience in itself!

Iconic film locations

From the streets, you’ll see houses like 12 Grimmauld Place for the Order of the Phoenix headquarters, bridges like Tower Bridge with its broomstick race, or the Millennium Bridge that collapses. Not to forget Piccadilly Circus where Hermione makes them reappear after an attack on the Burrow, and many other locations!

We obviously couldn’t see everything; we would have needed a few more days. We missed out on places like London Zoo, especially the reptile house featured in the first film. Also, Great Scotland Yard representing the entrance to the Ministry of Magic, Leadenhall Market which inspired Diagon Alley’s Leaky Cauldron and the magical shopping district…

You see, visiting London means immersing yourself in the Harry Potter universe because every corner will remind you of it!
